well i'm home. and it's been nice. it was quite the adventure actually getting here but i'm here. oh and it's christmas, insane. i feel like i've only had a few days of the Christmas season cause it just doesn't cut it out there on the outer banks. blasted warm weather and lack of snow. maybe that's a reason i'm wanting to hit up colorado for a while?

so i just have to say that life is moving too fast for my liking. i've been seeing an abundance of engagement announcements and pictures of said engagements...a bit overwhelming. especially when my grandma had this lengthy discussion today about my being single for so long. makes a girl feel really worth while i'll tell ya.

one of these freshly engaged friends i'm dying to see. one of my best buddies miss brittany "biddy" kelly. i can't believe she's engaged and yet i've seen this coming for at least a year. hopefully within the next couple of days i'll get to see her. it's been at least a year since we've spent quality time together. when i was home for a week back in may i saw her for a whole half an hour at the local icecream shop. i miss her. well actually i did see her when i was in columbus for a concert back in october...but it still feels like i haven't had a good chunk of time with my biddy in forever. sometimes i miss the good ol' days.

i'm really hoping to see ellie soon too. i need to spend a great deal of time with her this "break." i miss her to pieces. especially now that i'm home and five miles from her. ellie's always been apart of my life here in forest. she was one of the first friends i made when i moved here back in 4th grade and the only one i've kept this long. so there's this little ellie void that needs filling by her company!

and this new dog is interesting. she's a flipping kangaroo i think. she just bounces, it's amusing.
