the shepherd's dog
i am so excited. tonight i'll be heading to norfolk, va with jo beth, claire, dave and landon to see IRON AND WINE! i'm curious to see what the concert will be like since he's so chill. aaah i'm so excited!!! this makes band #3 that i LOVE that i've gotten to see in the past month.
lately i've also been bashing my brain trying to think of what to get people for christmas. since i'm not at school i don't nearly have as much presents to buy but this might be my hardest christmas yet as to knowing what i'm giving out. there's one person that i know exaclty what i'm getting them...everyone else...no clue. i'm also thinking about just doing all my shopping online, gives me a chance to get creative. and then there's the usual route i take, making things.
eric told me today that he's going to start working open to close. that means he's going to be giving everyone less hours because only two people work at a time and since we'll be workign the entire day only one person can work at a time. makes me a little nervous. luckily there will be a time where esther will be gone so i'll get her shift along with me and it will be the same time tax money comes out...so i'll finally get to save some money. nice chance of pace i must say. also gives me more of a chance to get my credit card paid off. then i'll actually be able to set money aside.
within a few days johnson will have gotten the check for the rest of my internship money which will free them up to send out my transcript to west coast. THEN next week when i get paid i can take that money, send it to west coast and then i'll be in business- taking classes! this is the most excited i've ever been for school i think. honestly i'm most excited about getting my books. i'm way curious as to what classes i'll be taking to finish up. it's a blessing to be starting soon too because i'll be put back on my family's insurance. i'm even concidering, depending on how i like the classes, taking my graduate classes with them since it's so cheap, ha and it keeps me on my folks insurance :]. cause at this point who knows when i'll actually be able to start paying for my own.
lets continue with the chain of thought here: little bit by little bit i've been hearing how art driven out west is. it's making me drool at the mouth. when i get my degree finished i really want to send my resume all over out there. that is unless something opens up here, which i highly doubt. we shall see, won't we.
