art and coffee.
ok so random, i have "luck be a lady" stuck in my head. i have no idea why. help get it out!
i always enjoy working friday mornings with ellie. she's fastinating. i love listening to her insights and opinions on just about everything. i also thouroughly enjoy listening to her encourage others with their talents. for example, she was talking with this guy who carves surfboards out of wood and carves incredible images into them. she was telling him he should find a way to get them into surfing contests as prizes as a way to advertise himself AND make more money. it's ideas like that, things you wouldn't normally think of, that send my brain into a frenzy trying to think outside of the box with my own art. ellie is full of crazy ideas. i usually leave work inspired.
needless to say for the past little bit i've been thinking about ways i can use my art to help teens or to support teens. this is something i'm going to be starting to pray about, how God wants to use me in my creativity.
life is really exciting. i need to take more time to step back and soak up everything He's done for me and the life i'm living RIGHT NOW.
